Lynda Brest is a strategic advisor in business transformation and change, with global experience across the private and public sectors. Over the past 25 years, she has held volunteer board and governance roles with not-for-profit organisations in Australia and Canada, including Shalom College UNSW Sydney, Stand Up, Supported Living Network and JVS of Greater Toronto.
After joining the Hadassah Australia board in 2018, Lynda was also a member of the board of Hadassah Australia Medical Research and Collaborations Foundation (HAMRC) prior to its merger with AUSiMED.
Lynda draws inspiration from the ideals of Hadassah founder Henrietta Szold - ‘when you dream, dream big’. She is passionate about enabling Australians to strengthen health outcomes in Israel and beyond through support for Hadassah Medical Organisation’s world-class programs in medicine, education and research.
A student of business and psychology, Lynda holds an MBA and post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management from Wits University and a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Cape Town.
