Fundraising Stories

Raphy Lenko's Bar Mitzvah

For his recent Bar Mitzvah, Raphy Lenko chose to support Hadassah's Emergency Appeal, asking for donations in lieu of gifts. His thoughtful gesture was recognised with a Certificate of Appreciation presented by Ron Finkel AM, President of Hadassah Australia, during a special moment shared with his parents, Debbie and Eytan, and grandparents, Eva and Tab Fried.

Ron highlighted the significant impact of Raphy's contribution, emphasising its role in aiding the recovery and rehabilitation of some of Israel's injured soldiers. Ron said, "This act of kindness, supported by your family and friends, underscores a remarkable commitment you have made to making a difference. We thank you!"
