In January 2024, Hadassah partially opened the Gandel Rehabilitation Center at Mount Scopus. Over the past year, this state-of-the-art facility has provided world-class rehabilitation care to hundreds of wounded IDF soldiers and civilians.
With many Australians visiting Israel for the first time since the outbreak of conflict, Hadassah Australia took the opportunity to invite guests on two specially organised tours of the facility. Witnessing firsthand the centre’s groundbreaking work, visitors described the experience as "inspiring, enlightening, and humbling."
