Saving Lives: Hadassah Emergency Appeal

Help save lives, heal, and rehabilitate some of Israel's most severely injured victims being treated at Hadassah Hospital and Gandel Rehabilitation Center.

Make a donation

At this pivotal moment in Israel’s history, we, the Hadassah Australia community, stand with Israel and the Hadassah Medical Organization. We invite you to make a gift today to urgently assist in healing the people of Israel.

In the wake of the recent challenges, including the unprovoked attacks on 7 October 2023, our focus is on the critical need to care for those who have been seriously wounded, saving lives, healing and acute rehabilitation.

The Gandel Rehabilitation Centre: A New Chapter in Healing

The phased opening of the Gandel Rehabilitation Centre at Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus has meant that the first war-wounded patients are now being treated in this state-of-the-art facility. The centre, named after John and Pauline Gandel of Melbourne, principal donors through the Gandel Foundation, is a testament to the collective effort and generosity of our supporters in the Australian Jewish community as well as of the Government of Israel.

Your ongoing support is crucial for the hospital and for the Gandel Rehabilitation Centre, aiding in their mission to offer comprehensive treatments. Your generosity directly impacts the lives of those who have suffered from severe injuries, providing them with a chance at a full recovery.

All donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible.
