Prof Guy Harpaz, Dean of Students at The Hebrew University, is a true advocate of the Hadassah-Achotenu University Scholarships in Health. The reason is simple: he sees the powerful impact of the program and he can witness its success on a regular basis.
Speaking with Hadassah Australia supporters on a Zoom meeting from Jerusalem, Prof Harpaz said “I believe that the Achotenu program is a win-win-win-win-win. It's a win for the students. It's a win for their families. Many of the Achotenu students are pioneers - first in their families admitted into academia. It's a win for the Ethiopian community in Israel. It's a win for the Nursing School, which is looking very hard for such great students. It's a win for the Medical School. It's a win for the Israeli medical profession. And it's a win for the Israeli economy. Because I think that the Achotenu students are doing extremely well.”
