In 2012, we celebrated the centenary of Hadassah Hospital and a decade of service by Hadassah Australia.
We decided to acknowledge these milestones by charting the history and achievements of the hospital and the Australian community’s support for it. The result was The Hadassah Chronicles, which appeared during the course of 2012, principally as an insert in The Australian Jewish News.
The ‘Chronicles’ revealed a story which has touched the lives of millions of people in Israel, and around the globe – including many Australians.
Over 12 months, we provided a snapshot of Hadassah’s pioneering work and the many collaborative programs that Hadassah Australia has been part of. It also gave us an opportunity to introduce the people who have been responsible for Hadassah’s remarkable achievements.
