Hadassah medical staff at the Polish-Ukrainian border
We are proud to share that Hadassah, Hadassah Hospital and Hadassah International are among the Jewish activists and NGOs awarded the 2023 The Genesis Prize for their work supporting the Ukrainian people in the wake of the humanitarian crisis caused by the war. Kol HaKavod!
Hadassah sent 15 medical delegations to Poland, set up and ran medical clinics on the Ukraine/Poland border and collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO), Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and others to treat over 31,000 Ukrainian refugees.
