With thanks to Caulfield Shule for partnering with Hadassah Australia, we were privileged to host an outstanding presentation by Prof Ora Paltiel, a world-renowned haematologist and Professor of Epidemiology at Hadassah and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The audience was captivated as Prof Paltiel brought to life the stories behind the data, offering a fresh perspective on the impediments as well as the extraordinary contributions of women to Israel’s healthcare landscape. Her presentation highlighted the groundbreaking work of Hadassah in general, and women leaders in particular, in advancing medicine, research, and education—impacting lives across Israel and beyond.
Prof Paltiel, who also serves as the Director of Hadassah’s Center for Clinical Epidemiology Research and is a member of Israel’s Quality Indicators Program in Community Healthcare, shared her insights on the challenges and achievements faced by women in Israel’s healthcare system.
The session was both inspiring and instructive, leaving attendees with a deeper appreciation of the pivotal roles women are playing in shaping Israel’s health sector and the world.
