In his new role as the Israel Representative of the Gandel Foundation, Rabbi James Kennard, former principal of Mt Scopus memorial College, made an impactful visit to the Gandel Rehabilitation Center.
Welcomed by Jorge Diener, Executive Director of Hadassah International, and Dr. Sheer Shabat, rehabilitation specialist, Rabbi Kennard toured the state-of-the-art facilities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the centre’s operations.
Rabbi Kennard also took the time to speak with patients, offering words of encouragement and listening to their stories. In an extremely emotional conversation, one patient emphasized the critical role of Hadassah in saving his life and highlighted the Rehabilitation Center's importance in his recovery process.
