An exclusive Hadassah Australia event, graciously hosted in the home of Roslyn Rogers OAM and Richard Rogers AM, was held to support the rehabilitation and mental health recovery of Israel’s wounded soldiers and civilians treated at Hadassah Hospital and the Gandel Rehabilitation Center.
The event featured a special guest speaker, artist Daniel Wein, who shared his remarkable journey of recovery and hope. While serving in the IDF, Daniel was seriously wounded in the 2014 conflict in Gaza. During his extended inpatient time in rehabilitation, Daniel turned to painting, using art as a therapeutic tool to aid his recovery. His inspiring story moved the audience deeply and highlighted the importance of holistic approaches to healing.
Adding to the significance of the evening, Dr. Ahmad Nama, Director of the Emergency Medicine Department at Hadassah Ein Kerem, joined via live stream from Israel. Dr. Nama provided invaluable insights into the critical care and support provided at Hadassah.
Hadassah’s work continues to transform lives, providing world-class medical care and vital acute rehabilitation services to Israelis in need.
