A delegation of 11 Australians, organised by businessman Zelman Ainsworth, recently visited Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem, as part of their special trip to Israel. The primary objective of their visit was to express solidarity with Israel and engage with those actively involved in ground-level efforts during the current conflict.
The Australian group met with soldiers who were injured in Gaza and now being treated at Hadassah Hospital.
Guided by Dr Ahmad Nama, Director of Emergency Medicine at Hadassah, they were given an insightful tour of the ER and Trauma units. They also explored the Underground Emergency Hospital. In addition, the group visited the magnificent Chagall Windows, gaining insights into the rich history and enduring legacy of Hadassah.
This visit provided the delegation with a comprehensive understanding of Hadassah's crucial role in providing life-saving healing during the war, as well as Hadassah's ongoing innovative medical work.
