Thank you to all of you who joined us for the special screenings of the film Exodus 91 in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth during the 2023 Jewish International Film Festival - JIFF.
While the short pre-film clip set the scene through the moving story of a graduate of the Hadassah-Achotenu Ethiopian-Israeli Scholarships in Health program, the post-film panel discussion highlighted how young Ethiopian-Israelis have been empowered through dreaming big to overcome many economic, social and educational challenges.
We thank Lindy and Eddie Tamir and the JIFF staff for their support and partnership in bringing the special Hadassah Australia events to audiences keen to learn more about the historical Ethiopian rescue operation and the upshot of the rescue for those immigrants in today’s Israel.
