What a joy to connect with the community to share insights about Hadassah Australia and bring to life the legacy of inspirational Hadassah founder, Henrietta Szold, the legendary Zionist who revolutionised healthcare and social activism in pre-state Israel!

A warm thank you to Rabbi Yaakov Glasman (pictured left) from St Kilda Shule for hosting us in late September as part of their "Thursday Lunch Club". The well-attended event featured Hadassah Australia guest speakers, President Ron Finkel AM, Board Director Lynda Brest and Development Director Dorit Jaffe.
And with a change of pace and direction just three days after the horrific massacre in southern Israel, we had the honour of sharing with members of Caulfield Shule. A warm thank you to Rabbi Daniel Rabin (pictured right) for inviting us to "ShmoozeDay" at the shule.
Participants were keen to hear about and ask insightful questions relating to the Hadassah-Achotenu Ethiopian-Israeli Scholarships in Health program, the life-saving work of Hadassah Hospital and the new Gandel Rehabilitation Center at Mount Scopus.
And lastly, a very different event and a warm thank you to NCJWA and President Melinda Jones for inviting Board Director Lynda Brest to a special Sukkot "Ushpiziot" webinar that welcomed notable women into the virtual Sukkah. Lynda presented the legacy of Henrietta Szold in today's world and how we, as a community, can participate in strengthening the State of Israel.
We look forward to many more occasions to join with shules, schools and other organisations to share our story and their's, building our networks in the community.
