This month, we held a special Hadassah Australia event, graciously hosted by Joel and Liora Symons. Inspired by his time volunteering at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem, Associate Professor Joel Symons launched a campaign to fund the ORSIM bronchoscopy simulator. This revolutionary medical training tool provides high-quality virtual reality practice, essential for improving patient outcomes and saving lives at Hadassah Hospital.

Professor Stephane Ledot, Head of Anaesthesiology at Ein Kerem, spoke passionately about the hospital's role during the war, the inspirational support from the international anaesthetics community, Joel's visit and work in the department, and the urgent need for the ORSIM.

Both Joel and Professor Ledot emphasized that the ORSIM bronchoscopy simulator is a game-changer in medical training, offering doctors continuous, hands-on experience with realistic airway scenarios. This advanced tool significantly enhances bronchoscopy skills, leading to better patient outcomes and saving lives.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to those who are helping us secure the ORSIM. To learn more or make a tax-deductible donation to support funding this device before the end of the financial year, please click the link below.
